Packing Light and Looking Nice

Yes, I fit over 50 outfits in my 40 liter backpack when I am going to be gone for a month or more.  (If you don't believe me, some sample outfits are below using only the above pieces.

When packing for your travels there are only two things you need to keep in mind: versatility and quality. I don't mean high quality like expensive. Just high quality like it won't become a ball of wrinkles and can also withstand a lot of washes. (Because when you travel light, you wash a lot).  Some of these pieces are designed for travel and are quick-dry, resilient, and comfy.  Here are the links to those specifically:

The number one rule is to make sure every article of clothing goes with everything else. This way you have enormous options. (And doesn't a girl need options?).   Two of these tops are reversible (One side black and one side grey) which provides even more flexibility in one piece. I also stick with neutral shorts/pants so they will go with any shirt.  A colorful scarf can also spice up any outfit adding color on days when you need a splash of color. (Like This One).

All of the outfits below were created with 7 tops (two of them long sleeve), 1 camisole, 2 cardigans, 3 pants, 3 shorts, 2 dresses (one short and one long), and a rain jacket.  That's really all I need.  I actually only wore the purple long sleeve shirt once because it was too warm.  Happy Packing! Let me know if you have any other questions about how I pack or travel in general.
